About our school

<p>We welcome parents who are looking for school which can prepare their child for applications for scholarships and other awards. We offer a comprehensive preparatory school education, from nursery through to year 9. In year 8 discussions are held between staff and parents about any scholarship and award applications which might be applicable. The school provides an excellent education, in a friendly, happy environment. How we prepare our pupils for scholarships and other awards

<p>Throughout their time at St David&#x27;s Wimbledon Prep, our pupils receive a thorough and stimulating education. Pupils who show a particular aptitude for certain subjects are put on our Gifted and Talent programme from year 3 onwards and increasingly receive additional input in order to help them develop their abilities. Parents are involved in this process. Recent awards gained by our pupils

<p>In 2020, we had one pupils who won an Academic Scholarship and three who won academic exhibitions to our senior school, St David&#x27;s Wimbledon School. There were two Art Scholarships to local senior schools. Special Educational Needs provision

<p>We recognise that a considerable number of our pupils, including those likely to take scholarships, have special educational needs and we have a dedicated special needs co-ordinator, Mrs Jenny Willard, who ensures that pupils receive the help that they require.
